One of the issues I faced during my work with Adobe Sign for Microsoft Dynamics 365 was getting the Agreement status updated. Real-time Adobe Sign Agreement status update was not possible before Adobe introduced the use of Power Automate to update Dynamics 365 when an action occurs in the Adobe Sign account.

Add Power Automate template
We have to have an Adobe account; either paid or trial account is needed. To obtain a trial account, check the previous post.
We will have to sign in to Adobe sign and allow access to the Adobe Sign account from Power automat to update the agreement status instantly.
Confirgure the Power Automate template
Name the trigger step
According to Adobe instructions, we will have to change the name of the Adobe Sign trigger (When the state of an agreement changes).
According to the Adobe instructions, the trigger name should be “Real-Time Status updates for Adobe Sign”.
I don’t know if this setting is a must, but it is easier to follow the instructions to ensure that no dependency might require a specific name.
Set the Dynamics 365 environment
There are two classical Dataverse actions.
- Get Regcord
- Update record
Set the environment to where Dynamics 365 is hosted.
Do not use the “Current” option; this is what I was told by Adobe Sign support.
Now, Dynamics 365 agreement will get updated instantly when the recipient interacts with the document.
