Microsoft has announced that companies with Microsoft 365 subscription will be entitled to Microsoft Dynamics 365 Marketing for free for 6 months during Ignite event that is taking place now.
Great opportunity
I believe that this initiative is a great opportunity for many companies who want to implement MS D365 Marketing to lower the total cost of ownership (TCO) 
, especially during the implementation phase.
It is also a great opportunity for companies who are already using other Dynamics 365 apps, such as Sales and Customer Service. Those companies already have their accounts and contacts in Dynamics 365 and can easily extend their marketing utilisation. They can evaluate totally for free and 6 months as part of their implementation and for enough time to decide.
On the side, it is also a great opportunity for partners to approach their clients and propose deploying D365 Marketing for 6 months and take advantage of Microsoft offering.
I also believe that it is a great opportunity for the community to work more with D365 Marketing. I consider Dyanics 365 Marketing my main, especially it is not the most commonly used application of the other Dynamics 365 applications. Now, we will expect more adaptation.
Eligibility
According to Lori Lamkin, Vice President, Dynamics 365 Marketing Product at Microsoft, in her recent post , she mentioned that eligibility will be announced soon, but she also mentioned that the new offer will be for Microsoft 365 E3 and E5 customers, which I consider as the first and main eligibility condition.
